Step 7: Provide Feedback

1. ■Provide detailed feedback on assignments and activities
   

2. ■Tell students what was done correctly, what must be improved, and why
   

3. ■Utilize rubrics when possible
   

4. ■Give formative (practice) feedback as well as on assessments (quizzes or tests)

Examples:
Conferencing with students to go over their performance is an effective way to let them know how they are doing.  Providing proof for what you tell a student through rubrics, assignments, quizzes and tests can also be helpful.
