Step 6: Elicit Performance
■Let the learner do something with the newly acquired knowledge
■Practice skills or apply the knowledge to a new situation
■Have students apply knowledge in group or individual projects, activities, written assignments, labs, and so on
Examples:
Allow for station/center time where students can practice the knowledge learned during the whole-group lesson. Offer a variety of options, such as computers, textbooks or hands one activities.
